²⁶ They killed Hamor and his son Shechem with the sword. And they took Dinah from Shechem’s house and went away. ²⁷ Then Jacob’s sons went over the dead men and robbed the city of its riches because its men had put their sister to shame. ²⁸ They took their flocks and cattle and donkeys and whatever was in the city and in the field.
